This article records the guidance issued during that incident and does not claim an outage is still ongoing.
The official Korean schedule starts October 28 at 7 AM KST. The announced reservation period is October 27–November 3, for the specific WoW account that purchased an eligible digital upgrade or Collector’s Edition. Eligible packs include Skyborne Heroic, Skyborne Epic and Warcraft Forever Collection. Reserve up to three characters total across all rulesets; this limit applies only during early name reservation. Names are first come, first served and are not guaranteed. Install World of Warcraft: Forever through Battle.net, choose a ruleset and create your characters.

Weekly resets for all raids are the current plan and may change. Every player entering Onyxia’s Lair must carry the Drakefire Amulet in their inventory; equipping it is unnecessary. Barrow Deeps has entrances connected through Mount Hyjal, Winterspring and Blackmaw Hold. This launch-content preview does not announce a higher beta level cap or immediate access to every instance.

In a PAX Australia developer interview, Clay Stone said Shaman tanking is discussed within the team but is not currently being officially pursued or supported as a launch specialization. This does not mean players cannot attempt tanking low-level dungeons. It clarifies official tank-role support; no future implementation date has been announced.
Official October 8 beta patch: dungeon kill XP increased by approximately 20%, and party XP is calculated using each member’s level. A member vastly above the enemies still prevents XP gains. Warriors again need Deep Wounds for Impale; Druid bear threat increased from 30% to 50%; Hunter Expose Prey increased from 5 to 10 seconds. The library reward Truthseeker’s Bow requires level 40. Valley of Bones in Desolace now starts at level 35; level-35 equip requirements for related rewards are planned for a later hotfix. These are beta changes, subject to launch verification.

Honor purchases gear; Rank Points advance ranks. Epic upgrades require blue gear and rank-gated Emboldened Seals. Mounts unlock at Rank 11 and epic weapons at Rank 14. Three seasonal tasks each award a Legacy Point.
